Begin your new life in Christ

You can have real and lasting peace today through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Begin your four-step journey now!

God loves you and wants you to experience abundant, everlasting peace and life.

The Bible says,

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:1

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

“I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

Why don’t most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?

God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He didn't make us like robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

The Bible says,

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Our choice results in separation from God. People have tried many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God…

The Bible says,

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." Proverbs 14:12

"But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59:2

No bridge reaches to God… except one.

Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sins and bridged the gap between God and mankind.

The Bible says,

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God." 1 Peter 3:18

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

God has provided the only way… Each person must make a choice…

We must trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.

The Bible says,

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believed in His name." John 1:12

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?

Here is how you can receive Christ:

  • Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)
  • Be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask God's forgiveness.
  • Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
  • Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior)

We suggest a prayer like this:

"Dear God, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn away from my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead. I want Him to come into my heart and take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus' Name, amen."

Did you pray to receive Jesus Christ and begin a relationship with Him?

What is Redentor?

  • Radio Redentor, Inc. is a non-profit organization registered under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Founded by missionary Burton Katzelnik, it began operations around May 1974 as the first radio station to offer Christian content in Puerto Rico.
  • The organization has a Board of Directors composed of representatives from different sectors within the evangelical community of Puerto Rico.
  • Until 2021, it used a single frequency, 104.1 FM, covering nearly 90% of the island of Puerto Rico.
  • Its finances come from audience donations and commercial advertising sales.
    • Over 3,000 people invest in Redentor with their offerings every year.
    • It invests in the necessary technology to achieve a stable and clear transmission. Today it owns four transmitters located on four mountains: Mayagüez, Peñuelas, Caguas, and the main transmitter in the Sabana Grande ward of Utuado.
  • It established the celebration of the National Day of Christian Music, celebrating 7 editions, with the last one in 2008 when thousands of Christian music CDs were given away at different points across the Island, including San Juan, Caguas, Manatí, and Arecibo.
  • The first Christian radio station to have a News Department (104FM Noticias).
  • The first Christian radio station to provide broad radio coverage of electoral processes for more than 7 consecutive hours in both 2008 and 2012.
  • A precursor media outlet that succeeded in gathering 200,000 people in front of the Capitol of Puerto Rico on February 18, 2013, in defense of Christian faith-based matters.
  • The only Christian station with record-breaking full-capacity attendance at the Manuel "Petaca" Iguina Coliseum in Arecibo for massive events, starting with the "Precioso Jesús" concert by the group Esperanza de Vida and the duo Tercer Cielo.
  • Dedicated to serving, educating, and building up the business class and community leaders.
  • Contributes to other missionary works through fundraising events. Among them:
    • Sending Bibles to Cuba through the Bible League of Puerto Rico and the MIES Foundation.
    • Sending Christmas gifts to children in underprivileged communities (Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse).
    • Installing water wells in communities in India through World Wide Christian Ministries and Operation Blessing from the 700 Club at CBN.
  • In May 2014, 40 years of its founding were celebrated with a series of events that included:
    • The Great Redentor Caravan traveling around the island on different dates, starting on February 1st in the northern region.
    • The 40th Anniversary Gala Banquet on March 1st at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, benefiting infrastructure and technology development projects.
    • A completely free 40th Anniversary Concert on May 31st at the Manuel "Petaca" Iguina Coliseum in Arecibo.
  • In 2017, Redentor remained on the air with its audience during the passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
    • On September 20, the winds brought by Hurricane Maria knocked down the tower and antenna of our studios in San Juan. Our transmission was interrupted for a day. The next day at 10 PM, Redentor turned its transmitter back on, becoming the first FM station to be available and the second station on the entire island to broadcast, reconnecting Central and Northern Puerto Rico with the information needed to manage the crisis.
  • In 2020, following the earthquakes that shook the entire island, Redentor kept the community informed while serving as a balm with programming filled with messages and music of peace and hope.
  • With the announcement of the global lockdown in March 2020, Redentor did not stop broadcasting and searching for ways to continue spreading its message. On this occasion, it expanded its offerings to social networks and online media, continuing to present virtual concerts with the ministries most deeply rooted among the audience—always fulfilling its vision of making the Gospel of Jesus Christ available to every human being.
  • Always a pioneer in using advanced technology, from landlines and regular mail to text messaging, social media, and mobile applications today.
  • As of April 1, 2022, it expanded its operations and transmission by adding the frequency 104.3 FM serving St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands, reaching the remaining 10% of the island of Puerto Rico.
  • On-air programming has evolved as required over time, climbing audience rating positions to reach a spot among the top 10 stations overall in Puerto Rico according to the most recognized surveys.
    • Today it features a mostly musical format interspersed with reflections, news, and informative segments. In the morning, Pastor Jesús Manuel Torres opens with "Desayuno Espiritual" (Spiritual Breakfast) and "Directo al Corazón" (Direct to the Heart), the most popular segments during that timeslot; from 10 AM to 3 PM, Laura Mercado continues; and during the commute home between 3 PM and 7 PM, Eddie R. Jr. brings his iconic phrase "We'll Be Right Back," accompanied by spiritually impactful segments led by Pastor Elizabeth Guidini with "Victoria en tu Crisis" (Victory in Your Crisis) and "Para que mi Gente Piense" (So That My People Think) with Pastor Rolando Torres.0
